My Corner of the World

On these pages I have shared my experience during lockdown in the UK in 2020 and beyond, how my garden became a safe haven for me and helped me to maintain good mental health during this extreme time for the world.

It’s now 2023 and I’m still using this blog as a way of sharing both my gardening and the scrapbooking I create to document the garden (amongst other things). The garden is still a haven, still my happy place and I really hope this blog inspires people to do whatever they can to get a little bit of life growing somewhere, whether that’s in a big garden or a tiny windowsill.

I’m in the North West of England, near the coast, with very little extreme weather and I have the advantage of a south/south west facing garden.

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind,
Be more kind my friends, try to be more kind.
