Six On Saturday – 15 November 2025

It’s been a very wet week up here in the North West so I’ve snatched a couple of photos in between the wind and rain (Claudia found us yesterday I think). There’s obviously not much going on out there right now so here are a couple of hardy flowers still hanging on and some lovely texture and colour in the leaves out there.

As usual please drop by our host Jim’s blog and take part in Six On Saturday with us.

  1. I love the variety of greens on the fatsia leaves.
  2. I hope that little ladybird found somewhere warm to shelter from the rain that came right after I took this photo.
  3. Gorgeous seed pods on the scabious.
  4. My only surviving hebe.
  5. This vinca hasn’t flowered all summer, it seems to have waited till November!!
  6. A self seeded pansy. These guys did flower all summer, they clearly didn’t get the memo that it’s now November.

A brief one from me this week – see you all next week.

  1. Love the scabious seed head, so architectural. Also, I am a big fan of violas, the way they just pop up wherever they like. I’ve just bought some more for winter bedding, hopefully they will spread themselves about as well. Have a good week.
